Step-by-Step Process

Receive Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)

Apply to Australian universities/colleges and receive your CoE letter after paying the deposit or full fees.

Purchase OSHC (Health Cover)

Overseas Student Health Cover is mandatory. Purchase from Bupa, nib, Medibank, or AHM for the entire duration of your visa.

Create ImmiAccount

Create an account at immi.homeaffairs.gov.au to apply online. All applications are submitted digitally — no paper applications.

Submit Visa Application

Upload: CoE, OSHC, IELTS/PTE scores, financial evidence (3 months bank statements showing AUD 21,041/year), passport, SOP.

Biometrics & Health Exam

You may be asked to complete a medical examination at an approved DHA panel physician in Kathmandu and/or biometrics.

Receive Grant Notice

Visa grant notice emailed with visa validity dates. Processing: typically 4–6 weeks but can vary.
